Haley Van Rijn’s love of dance began at a young age of 3 at Dance Images in Coaldale Alberta under the direction of Gerry Unger. Upon graduation, Haley was accepted into Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program under the direction of Moe Brody. In September 2013, Haley began her training with The Source Dance Company directed by Joanne Pesusich, where she trained with some of North America’s top choreographers. In addition, Haley began dancing with TwoFourSeven Company in September 2014 led by Carlo Atienza, which has given her the opportunity to compete at many prestigious competitions such as Body Rock, Hip Hop International, and Artists Emerge. Making the move to Vancouver presented Haley with multiple opportunities to work as a professional dancer with companies such as Sephora, Nickelodeon, and artists such as Janet Jackson and Marianas Trench. In addition to performing, Haley is also passionate about sharing her love for dance through teaching. She made the move back to Southern Alberta and is thrilled to have opportunities to share her passion and knowledge in studios, schools, and independent dance societies in Lethbridge, AB.
