Aurielle Ackerman - Ballet

Aurielle Ackerman grew up in Lethbridge and trained at Joy's Dance Factory. Aurielle attended many summer schools most notably Banff Centre Dance Training Program, Alberta Ballet Summer School, Okanagan Summer Dance Intensive, ADAPT Summer school, and Royal Winnipeg Professional Division Summer School. Aurielle was a student at the ROYAL WINNIPEG BALLET School in the Professional Division from 2009-11. In addition to training with the teachers at JDF, she has studied and received coaching with Ana Maria Campos, Lynette Kelley, Jacqueline Weber, Jorden Morris, Sandra Holtzappel, Gabriela Rehak, Maritel Centurion, Oleksandra Kondratyeva, Elizabeth Wells and Tiffany Knight. Miss Aurielle has obtained the highest RAD award: The Solo Seal Award, Distinction in RAD Advanced 2 and Grade 8 Ballet Award Examinations, Highly Commended Plus in ADAPT Intermediate III Jazz Examination and Honors in her Al Gilbert Tap Examinations. She was an ADAPT demonstrator for the teacher training program, courses and videos as well as performed in annual year end recitals and competitions. Miss Ackerman is now a registered RAD teacher and a certified ADAPT teacher.
